It's been a while since I've used this thing.

So I wanted to use this opportunity to say that Trinity is still in development. I've been silent for quite some time but fear not. A lot has happened for me in 2016. I've had a lot of shitty moments and some good ones (mostly shitty moments). Due to the shittier moments, I took a lengthy hiatus from Trinity's development but I'm happy to say that I'm actively working on it once more. My current goal is to complete a demo version of the game showcasing only the first main segment of the game. This demo version of the game would be released for free here on Newgrounds while I launch a Kickstarter campaign to fund the rest of the project.

In order to facilitate a healthy continued development of this project, I am opening up pixel art commissions. For a while, I've been seeking to get into freelance/commission work and believe that the more my means of feeding myself is creative in nature, the more Trinity's development will remain steady.

For regular updates on Trinity, please follow my Twitter @carrillgamedev! I regularly post animated .gifs of game footage there.

On a miserable colony circling around a destroyed planet, two societies worship the same trinity of deities... yet oppose one another.

A young woman from the lower society, you have been sent on a holy crusade… a mission to return humanity to its promised land. Infiltrating a doomed and suffering upper civilization, you embark on your quest… but a charismatic prophet speaks through strange plastic boxes scattered throughout the city…. warning the people against your plans. For how long can you keep faith in your crusade when conflict follows you everywhere you turn?

Redeem humanity… Assemble the trinity.

Trinity is the follow-up game to Perdition. It's not a prequel or a sequel to my previous game, but it does take place within the same universe. Like Perdition, it's a 2D Platformer with a great emphasis on atmosphere and choice. Unlike Perdition, Trinity will be a much more open-world experience, offering the player more freedom in exploring the world. I'll share more details in time through a devlog elsewhere.

Hello, everyone! Sorry if I've been quiet as of late but I'm working on exciting things!

This is the very first mockup for my follow-up project to Perdition. It's a good example of the type of mood I'll be striving for with its art. After finishing more of these, I'm hoping to be able to prototype the game soon.

Play as an android who has attained self-awareness in the dark and atmospheric 2D platformer, Perdition!
